Married to Sheila, we have 3 Children, 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and Proud of them all.  I was a Civil Servant for 27yrs and lucky enough to retire early at the age of 49yrs, so I have had some freedom for a few years still living in Failsworth Manchester.

Joined March 58  at Caterham, Pete Smiths Squad, then Chelsea with the 1st Battalion  then Cyprus with the 2nd Battalion  no 4 Coy , then to LLanethly Barracks Hubblewrath Germany till I got Demobbed at Pirbright Feb 1961
